DRAMA ROSE BOWL - awarded to the most outstanding individual performer who has
competed in the following compulsory classes:
(a) Impromptu Speech
(b) One Prose Reading - Humorous or Serious*
(c) One Solo Poetry selection - Humorous or Serious*
*If (b) is Humorous, then (c) must be Serious and vice versa.
(d) One of “Skits”, “Excerpts from Plays” or “Monologues” - Role in a play or skit must be
major
(e) One other class
Only performers in Grade 9 through Adult (Open) classes are eligible and any individual may
win the award only once....
